March gigs

The Plateau Jazz Band will be playing its regular 3rd Sunday gig on March 16th from 5:30-7:30 at Pono Hawaiian Grill DTSC. Check out the facebook page closer to the date for more information. On April 18th 7-9pm will be playing on the at the Mid County Senior Center and on the 20th at Pono once again.

It's February

In February we will be playing on the third Sunday at the Mid County Senior Center instead of Pono Hawaiian Grill because Pono is hosting a visiting Hawaiian musician who could only fit that date into their schedule. Sunday Feb 16, 3-5pm. $10 cover benefits the center.

Welcome January 2025

The Plateau Jazz Band will be playing on the third Sunday of January (January 19) at Pono Hawaiian Grill Downtown Santa Cruz 5:30-8.

November with Plateau

We will be playing at Pono Hawaiian Grill in Downtown Santa Cruz on Sunday November 17, 5:30-8pm. Here is a bit more staid shot taken when we played for the Monterey Hot Jazz Society last month. The band added Scott Nordgren with his clarinet to the line up (3rd back on the left), and we have two bass players in the photo, Dave Nordgren (2nd back on left) and Peter Young (first on right). Peter is out for awhile with hand surgery, but came along to sing a few songs with the band.
