Thanks to all the dancers that showed up for our inaugural Third Sunday show at Pono Hawaiian Grill. We will be back there next month. But before that we will be playing on Friday June 9, 7-9pm for the Swing dance at the Mid County Senior Center Dance and then on Sunday June 11 from 1-4 for the Monterey Bay Hot Jazz Society. Another version of Basin St.
We have been quite busy playing and not so busy posting. One of the audience members - at our Third Thursday performance at Ellas at the Airport in Watsonville, Ca on March 19, 2023 - sent us a recording of Basin St. Blues as we did it there. We will be playing for a few dances in the near future:
March 23 Swing dance at the Pacific Arts Complex in Midtown Santa Cruz 8-10 pm.
April 13 Swing dance at the Pacific Arts Complex in Midtown Santa Cruz 8-10 pm.
April 16 Ellas at the Airport Watsonville 5-7pm
April 21 Swing Dance Mid County Senior Center, Capitola, CA 7-9pm

Look for us every Third Sunday
Until further notice we will be playing every third Sunday from 5-7pm (or so) at Ellas at the Airport, 100 Aviation Way in Watsonville. Hope to see you there.

Our performance was well received. In their Hot Jazz newsletter they wrote:
"... we sure had a good time at our September dance with music provided by the Plateau Jazz Band from Santa Cruz. Philip Rice brought his band ready to perform and perform they did – keeping folks out on the dance floor with lots of good music, including some tunes you don’t hear very often. If you weren’t there, you missed a really good time – great job Plateau!"
